Following a pattern similar to Russia, Chinese Geely vehicles have entered the Kazakh market, with prices that sit notably lower than their Russian counterparts. The pricing gap reflects local market conditions, import dynamics, and regional competition, resulting in a more favorable total cost for Kazakh buyers compared to the same models sold elsewhere in the region.

For example, the Geely Coolray compact crossover is available in Kazakhstan at prices ranging from 11.89 to 12.99 million tenge, which translates roughly to 1.58 to 1.72 million in ruble terms. In Russia, the same model is offered at a higher starting point, with official prices from 1.88 to 2.04 million rubles, illustrating a notable price premium in the domestic market.

The Geely Azkarra, known in Russia as the Atlas Pro, arrives in Kazakhstan with a price span of 12.99 to 15.49 million tenge, or about 1.72 to 2.06 million rubles. In the Russian market, this same crossover is priced between 2.21 and 2.63 million rubles, signaling a similar pattern of lower Kazakhstan pricing for this model as well.

Similarly, the updated Geely Tugella is offered in Kazakhstan for 18.49 to 19.99 million tenge, equivalent to approximately 2.46 to 2.65 million rubles, while the same vehicle in Russia commands a price range of 3.45 to 3.65 million rubles.

Requires 7,000 tires in popular sizes

Without tire availability, public safety and essential services could be at risk. Reliable tires are a fundamental need for everyday mobility and emergency response alike, ensuring roads remain navigable and drivers can maintain control in varying conditions.

In collaboration with the Popular Front, a fundraising effort was launched to secure tires for vehicles used by the People’s Police, operational services, and emergency response units in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions. The campaign supports ambulances, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and vehicles delivering humanitarian aid as well as army logistics. Interested contributors can support the cause through the collection page, where donations are coordinated and tracked to maximize impact.
