Inside the open section of the base of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property, new imagery surfaced for a crossover, with Geely credited as the copyright owner.

That signal points clearly to Geely Atlas L, a next generation crossover that insiders know as Geely Atlas Pro. It is worth recalling that Atlas Pro set a sales record in January 2023, with yearly growth reaching 3.5 times the prior year.

What is the upcoming generation aiming to deliver?

Atlas L rides on the CMA platform, which underpins the Geely Tugella and Volvo XC40 as well. Its dimensions measure 4670 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1705 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2777 mm. The new model stretches 126 mm longer and 69 mm wider than the Atlas Pro known today. Power comes from a 1.5-liter gasoline engine producing 181 horsepower and a 2.0-liter option delivering 218 horsepower, paired with a seven‑speed robotic transmission and front‑wheel drive as standard.

This material was prepared by an author who holds foreign-agent status in the Russian Federation.

The interior features a multimedia tablet with a 13.25-inch diagonal and a compact 10.25-inch display. The tech package includes a six‑speaker audio system, a power driver’s seat, front and rear parking sensors, comprehensive visibility, adaptive cruise control, and LED headlights. Higher trim levels upgrade to heated and ventilated seats, wireless charging, an eleven‑speaker audio system, keyless entry, windshield projection, and 19‑inch wheels.

In China, Atlas L made its debut in October 2022, with pricing that proved attractive when benchmarked against rivals such as the Haval H6 and the Changan CS75 Plus. While the publication of patent images does not guarantee an immediate launch, the success of the Atlas lineage makes a future introduction a reasonable expectation.
