Exeed dealers in Russia have begun supplying the updated TXL crossover, with the Basic Business trim priced from 4.2 million rubles, a figure highlighted by the brand’s press service. The refreshed model brings a refined approach to comfort and technology, aiming to appeal to buyers seeking a modern, feature-rich compact crossover.

Across all trims, the TXL now features a distinct radiator grille design and a thoroughly redesigned interior. Inside, drivers will notice new seats, an updated instrument panel, revised door cards, and the Lon Melody audio system that packs 23 speakers along with active noise cancellation to enhance on-road enjoyment.

The TXL’s powertrain lineup includes a turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder producing 194 hp or a 2.0-liter unit delivering 197 hp. The drive is managed by a choice of robotic and automatic transmissions developed in-house, delivering smooth shifting and a confident response for daily driving and longer trips.

Standard equipment on the base version includes adaptive cruise control, a winter package, all-wheel drive, and independent climate control, underscoring the model’s emphasis on reliability and comfort across seasons and road conditions.

The top-tier Flagship package elevates the experience with advanced driver assistance systems, a head-up display, and a power-adjustable driver seat with eight settings, memory, and massage. For front-seat passengers, a luxury seat offers six-way electrical adjustment to maximize comfort on longer journeys.

In another development, the Chinese automaker Voyah has introduced the Free crossover to the Russian market in a new variant named EVR Sport Edition. The model stands apart from the standard Free with a revised radiator grille, bold lower bumper stampings, a trunk lid spoiler, and 20-inch black wheels. It is powered by two electric motors generating a combined 490 hp, enabling a 0-100 km/h sprint in just 4.8 seconds, highlighting Voyah’s push into performance-oriented electric crossovers.

Earlier reports noted a halt in the assembly of vehicles from Dongfeng in Russia, which has influenced the availability and distribution of certain models within the region. The landscape for branded imports continues to evolve as manufacturers reassess supply chains and regional demand, impacting customers and the wider market where these brands compete.
