Chery has announced the arrival of the Arrizo 8 sedan with a hybrid powertrain in the Russian market, slated for an early 2024 launch. This information comes from Auto.ru Magazine, which highlights the model’s planned market debut and powertrain configuration for Russia.
In its home market, China, the Arrizo 8 C-DM variant was unveiled in April and is set to begin domestic sales in November. Official disclosures describe a vehicle capable of achieving up to 165 km on electric power and up to 1,400 km in hybrid mode, with a stated average fuel consumption of 4.2 liters per 100 kilometers. These figures position the Arrizo 8 as a long-range hybrid option within its segment, appealing to buyers seeking efficiency without sacrificing performance.
From a design and dimension standpoint, the Arrizo 8 shares a footprint similar to popular models like the Toyota Camry and Hyundai Elantra when viewed in the Russian market context.
