AVTOVAZ has long sent vehicles to Belarus, Azerbaijan, and Kazakhstan. Looking ahead to the next year, the company did not dismiss the possibility of expanding into additional international markets with its VAZ Ladas.
Maxim Sokolov, the company president, spoke at the Russian Industrialist forum exhibition, noting that new markets are on the radar, with particular interest in expanding into Africa.
Plans call for exporting around 20,000 cars next year. By comparison, in 2021 the brand shipped 35.8 thousand Ladas abroad.
At this stage, the specific models to be exported have not been announced. AVTOVAZ currently offers four model families: Vesta, Largus, Granta, and Niva.
7,000 Tires in Popular Sizes Needed
Without tires, public order cannot be guaranteed, and essential medical care cannot reach those who need it.
In partnership with the Popular Front, the program “Behind the Wheel” has begun a fundraising effort to buy tires for the People’s Police and operational services in the LPR and DPR: ambulances, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, humanitarian aid delivery vehicles for Donbass residents, and military equipment. People can contribute through the collection page.
