AvtoVAZ, the Russian carmaker, plans a refreshed Lada Granta for release in 2024, as indicated by the company’s press service citing managing director Maxim Sokolov. The update is expected to bring practical upgrades that buyers value in today’s market.
According to Sokolov, the Granta lineup could gain climate control and cruise control, along with renewed interior materials, with the aim of rolling out these enhancements by year’s end. These additions would position the model more competitively in its segment, offering greater comfort and convenience for everyday driving.
While the official roadmap highlights feature upgrades, Sokolov did not specify whether the exterior styling would change alongside the interior updates, nor did he provide price guidance for the revised Granta.
Historically, Lada Granta and Lada Vesta have seen safety upgrades, including the introduction of airbags from a new supplier after a thorough testing cycle. The brand’s approach to safety has often included updating components to meet evolving standards while maintaining value for customers.
In recent months, the Granta’s availability on AvtoVAZ’s online platform has reflected market demand trends. Some body styles, such as certain hatchback and station wagon configurations, have been phased out from the official site as the company focuses on its best-selling configurations. Dealers have transferred remaining stock through traditional channels to fulfill orders.
Meanwhile, AvtoVAZ has continued to refresh the Vesta line with fresh aesthetics and finishes, expanding the color palette to attract contemporary buyers. This broader product strategy underscores the company’s commitment to updating its core models to stay relevant in a competitive market landscape.
