Russian automaker AvtoVAZ encountered problems during the production of pre-production prototypes of the Lada Iskra. In this respect reports Telegram channel “Autopotok” with a link to a resource in the company.
“Cars have a lot of electrical problems. “According to the source, they present themselves in a rather funny way: in some cars the ignition works but the headlights and instrument lighting do not work, in others the ignition does not work but the headlights and instrument illumination work,” he says.
According to the channel, the company attracted foreign experts from an unfriendly country to solve the problem.
The source also added that the pace of work on painting Iskra’s bodies has been reduced to a minimum (to two bodies per week).
Before reportedThe world premiere of the new Lada Iskra car took place within the framework of SPIEF-2024. The car was presented by AvtoVAZ president Maxim Sokolov.
Thus, Lada Iskra will be offered as sedan, station wagon and Cross station wagon. The new model will receive three types of power units: the base engine is 1.6 liters. 90 hp, combined with a five-speed manual transmission, 1.6-liter engine 106 hp. with six-speed manual transmission or automatic transmission. Preparations for the production of a new model are currently underway, with final tests and calibrations being carried out on the vehicle design. Production of the model will start in 2025.
