Vadim Kuzovkin, director of the Redauto driving school, warned about this in a conversation with the socialbites.ca correspondent.
“The rules for taking the exam have changed a lot. Previously, after three unsuccessful attempts, you could come back and continue the practice within a month at the earliest, now within six months at the earliest. In case of another malfunction, you will again have to wait six months. And that will last forever,” said the auto expert.
He added that the practical exam will become even more difficult. With the increase in the number of penalty points allowed, the number of violations specified in the previous more general criteria also increased.
“In addition, the inspector will be able to decide where to sit; front or back? In the latter case, there is a possibility that due to limited visibility it will be difficult to evaluate the condition of the road and the candidate’s actions. But for some, this is good news, because the closeness of the inspector makes them nervous,” says Kuzovkin.
He stated that overall the number of failed exams should not increase, but the situation regarding the length of exams was “bad”. Kuzovkin also believes that with clearer criteria, candidates can better spot their mistakes.
