Russian automaker Sollers received a concessional loan of 3.4 billion rubles from the state Industrial Development Fund (IDF) for the localization of stamped parts for cars. In this respect reports Interfax with reference to Sollers press service.
“The institution will localize technological operations to stamp approximately 120 parts of the body and cabin of Sollers commercial vehicles, as well as to control the geometry of the manufactured components,” the company said in a statement.
Production of stamped parts is planned to start in the second quarter of 2025 at the Sollers Alabuga factory in Tatarstan. The production volume of kits for Sollers Atlant and Argo commercial vehicles will reach up to 40 thousand units per year.
In Russia, Sollers Atlant and Sollers Argo, JAC Sunray and JAC N25/N35 are produced under their own names. Sale of Atlant and Argo started In December 2022.
