According to Autostat experts, 19 Chinese car brands entered the Russian market in 2023, including BAIC, Haima, Hongqi, Jetour, Kaiyi, Livan, Jetta, SWM, Tank, Jaecoo, Ora, Voyah and Skywell. These companies announced the start of official car sales in Russia, opened car dealerships and began to create a dealer network.
By 2023, 16 more Chinese car brands were operating in Russia. The largest and most famous of them are Haval, Chery and Geely. Also in Russia, cars of more than 20 Chinese brands are sold unofficially, including Zeekr, Avatr, Xpeng and others.
