Sales of the new Omoda, which will be available in Russia, have started in Europe

In the fourth quarter of this year, the Omoda company, which is part of the Chery concern, begins sales of E5 electric crossovers in European countries. The model will be launched in Russia in the first quarter of next year, the company said in a statement obtained by socialbites.ca.

Omoda E5 in October presented At the Geneva Motor Show in Qatar. The crossover is equipped with an electric motor producing 204 hp. (350 Nm). Charging consumption is 15.5 kW/h per 100 km and the maximum range is 430 km. Thanks to fast charging technology, you can charge the battery of an electric car from 20% to 80% in half an hour.

The new product differs from the Omoda C5 crossover sold in Russia by its redesigned front part – the car has no radiator grille, and the bumper design has been changed. The interior of the new product, where two 12-inch screens are combined in a single unit, will repeat the design of the gasoline version.

Now the Omoda brand is represented in Russia by the C5 crossover, S5 sedan and GT version.
