Croatian automaker Rimac Automobili has set a new Nürburgring record in the electric vehicle class. In this respect reported company press office.
Croatian racer Martin Kodrić, behind the wheel of the hypercar Rimac Nevera, took a lap of 7 minutes 5.3 seconds on the 20-kilometer German circuit. Since the beginning of this year, the lap record is held by the Tesla Model S Plaid (7 minutes 25.2 seconds).
In 2022, the Rimac Nevera hypercar set the world speed record for mass-produced electric cars, accelerating to 412 km / h. Nevera is equipped with a power plant consisting of four electric motors. Its total power is 1914 hp. (2360 Nm). The hypercar accelerates from standstill to the first “hundred” in 1.97 seconds, and accelerates to 300 km/h in 9.3 seconds.
