Xiaomi has announced that seven popular smartphones have passed into the “End of Life (End of Life” stage (END OF LIFE, EOL), which means that software support, including security updates and new versions of the operating system. This reported by portal Secret.
The list of old models includes POCO F4 GT, Redmi K50 Gaming, Redmi 10A, Redmi Note 11s, Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G, Xiaomi 11i, Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge. POCO F4 GT and Redmi K50 Gaming smartphones will complete the support in the Hyperos version of Android 14. The remaining models will remain with MIUI 12.5 with the other four other devices in Hyperos 1, which dates back to Redmi 10A and Android 13.
Despite the end of the software support, smartphones will continue to work and allow you to call, be online and run applications. However, devices become more vulnerable to hacker attacks, and over time users may face program compatibility problems.
Users to support applications can use special product software with the latest version of Android, but this does not guarantee the safety of devices.
Previously reportedThat Xiaomi employees have to work up to 15 hours a day and without vacation.
