Kaspersky laboratory experts have introduced a new malware distribution scheme for Arcane masked for Minecraft. This is stated in the press release received by Gazeta.ru.
An unknown group of attackers began to spread secret with advertising on Youtube. The description of video bloggers added a link to the archive with tricks for the theft of the victim’s personal and banking data.
However, at the end of 2024, the fraudsters developed the scheme: now not an archive, but Arcanaloeader, a boot that is a boot to download the popular tricks, cracks and other things among players. Bootloader is transmitted to users with a styler instead of promised game tricks. According to the Kaspersky Laboratory, most of the victims of Arcanalooader live in Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan.
Stinger extends to Youtube and Discord via advertising connections, after which Arcane login, password, payment cards and gathering confidential information from the customers of games, mail and network. Experts say Styler’s abilities are updated regularly and this increases the threat.
