Razer presented the prototype of the Project Arielle gaming chair with integrated heating and cooling systems at CES 2025. Made of mesh material, the chair is equipped with a quiet ventilation system that maintains a comfortable temperature regardless of environmental conditions. about this reports The Verge’s edition.
According to the developers, the three-speed fan system can reduce the perceived temperature in a dry room by 2-5 degrees Celsius. A PTC system is used for heating, providing temperatures up to 30 degrees Celsius, similar to that used in heated car seats. The temperature and fan speed are adjusted using the touch panel on the side of the seat. As expected from Razer, the chair also features RGB lighting that changes color depending on the operating mode.
The disadvantage of the prototype is the need to connect to the power supply, which limits the freedom of rotation. However, the developers have provided a system to safely remove the cable when it is pulled.
As The Verge writes, while Project Arielle is still a concept, its practicality is impressive. Razer did not specify the timing of the start of sales.
Previously Nintendo Switch 2 showed in the video.
