iOS 18.1, iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max, and iPhone 16 series users now have access to Apple Intelligence AI features. Some even work without changing the region to USA in the settings. However, this function does not work on devices for the Chinese market that have the letters CN/A in the model number. Chinese smartphones also do not support FaceTime Audio.
It is impossible to bypass these restrictions: changing the IP address, SIM card and other methods are useless, as confirmed by Apple itself.
All that remains for owners of such iPhones is to wait for Apple Intelligence to appear in China, but this will not happen soon. The native language model will be used instead of ChatGPT.
Users planning to buy the iPhone 15 Pro, 15 Pro Max or any iPhone 16 model are advised to stay away from Chinese smartphones with dual physical SIM cards if they plan to take advantage of Apple Intelligence’s neural network features.
