“The way of valuing works of art changes over time. In the pictures this happens 100 or 200 years later. Games and movies also continue to be objects passed down between generations. If I do something I’m happy with, aliens might show up centuries later and say, “That’s great.” The developer admitted that this is what it means to leave something behind.
For now, Kojima and his studio Kojima Productions are focused on creating Death Stranding 2, which is scheduled for release in 2025. It is also known that he starred in the film adaptation of the first part together with the A24 studio.
