Employees of the All-Russian State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company (VGTRK) have not been paid their salaries, which usually arrive on the 10th of each month. The delay was due to a large-scale hacker attack that paralyzed the company’s operations earlier in the week. On this subject with reference to sources reports Telegram channel “Attention, news.”
According to preliminary data, at least 100 employees faced delays in salary payments. Management does not provide exact accrual dates, and employees assume payments may not occur on Monday. It was reported that the delays also affected the employees of the Moscow 24 channel.
On the morning of October 7, a hacker attack took place on VGTRK, as a result of which online broadcasts of many channels and radio stations were suspended, including Rossiya 1, Rossiya 24, Kultura, Vesti FM, Mayak radio and more. Archive videos have been published. The attack also affected the operation of the company’s internal server and archive.
Pro-Ukrainian hacker group sudo rm -RF claimed responsibility for the cyber incident.
