Space X and Tesla founder Elon Musk said that the first unmanned flights of Starship to Mars are planned within two years. The billionaire was quoted as saying RIA Novosti.
The entrepreneur also noted that manned flights will have to wait four years.
The Starship reusable spacecraft is designed for flights to Mars and is designed to accommodate 100 people. Prototypes have already made several test flights back to Earth, but so far they have been in the Earth’s atmosphere.
