Designers Marko Filipic and Mati Papalini have presented a unique coffee machine alarm clock concept called Sunrise. The innovative device offers an alternative to traditional alarm clocks, whose main task is to wake users up with the smell of freshly brewed coffee instead of a loud beep. Post about it appeared On the Yanko Design (YD) website.
The creators of the device claim that Sunrise eliminates the need for users to set an alarm clock on their nightstand before going to bed and then wake up to an annoying alarm every day. Instead, the device sits on the nightstand and starts making coffee at the time the user sets, providing a gentle and pleasant wake-up.
Sunrise has compact dimensions that allow it to be placed on a nightstand, windowsill or tabletop. It looks like a regular coffee machine with a clock on its base and can only brew one cup at a time.
Currently, the Sunrise Alarm Clock Coffee Maker project is in the concept phase. If interest in this device is high, perhaps the project will get a full release that will allow users to enjoy a unique way of waking up.
