Samsung unveils Galaxy Quantum 5 smartphone with quantum encryption. Portal reports SamMobile.
The new product stands out from its competitors with the presence of the ID Quantique S2Q000 encryption chip, which ensures the operation of the quantum random number generator in the Samsung Knox security system. This increases the security of banking and payment applications.
The new product can be purchased exclusively from the South Korean operator SK Telecom for a price of 618 thousand won (about 42 thousand rubles).
Essentially, the Samsung Galaxy Quantum 5 is the Galaxy A55; the main difference is the presence of a cryptographic chip. Apart from that, the new product offers the same 6.6-inch Super AMOLED screen with Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz refresh rate, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus +. Triple camera with 50, 12 and 5 megapixel resolution, as well as a 32 megapixel selfie camera.
The performance of the device is provided by the proprietary Exynos 1480 chip, complemented by 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. The 5000 mAh battery supports 25 W charging, and the smartphone is protected against water and dust according to the IP67 standard.
