Studio Hangar 13 has released a trailer for the video game Mafia: The Old Country. The video was released on its YouTube channel Mafia Game.
The game will take place in Italy, not the United States as in previous installments of the series. The teaser states that details of the project will be announced in December 2024.
Before that reportedMafia 4 is said to be being developed by Hangar 13 studio on Unreal Engine 5 and will be a prequel to the original series. The game is planned to be set in Sicily during the 19th and early 20th century and the plot is expected to revolve around the family of Don Salieri, the boss of Tommy, the main character of the 2002 film Mafia.

Mafia is a series of adventure games originally created and developed by 2K Czech. Starting with the third installment, the games in the series are developed by the Hangar 13 team and published by 2K Games. The series includes the third installment as well as a remake of the original 2002 game.
