Xiaomi has introduced its flagship foldable smartphone, the Mix Fold 4, which receives powerful hardware and a thin body. The portal reports that GSMArena.
Thanks to the new Dragon Bone Hinge 2.0, which is 34% smaller than its predecessor, Xiaomi has managed to make the Mix Fold 4 one of the thinnest foldable smartphones in the world. Thus, its thickness when folded is 9.47 mm and when unfolded it is 4.59 mm. At the same time, the new product weighs like a “normal” smartphone – only 226 grams.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 is equipped with two displays, an external 6.5-inch and a flexible internal diagonal of 7.98 inches. Both OLED displays support a 120Hz refresh rate and a brightness of up to 3,000 nits.
The smartphone has six cameras – two front cameras for each display of 16 megapixels, as well as a 50 megapixel main sensor with optical stabilization (OIS), a 12 megapixel ultra-wide-angle module, a main camera unit consisting of a 50 megapixel main camera unit. Telephoto lens with OIS and 2x zoom, 10 MP periscope telephoto lens with OIS and five-fold atopic zoom. Optics and image processing algorithms were developed jointly with Leica.
The performance of the new product is provided by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip, complemented by 12 or 16 GB of RAM and 256, 512 GB or 1 TB of storage.
The 5100 mAh battery supports 67W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging. It is also stated that it has water protection according to the IPX8 standard. In China, the Xiaomi Mix Fold 4 will be on sale starting at 8999 yuan (about 108.2 thousand rubles).
