Images of characters from the upcoming Minecraft adaptation have leaked online, reports the portal DTF.
In the leaked images, actor and comedian Jack Black can be seen as Minecraft hero Steve. The actor’s appearance has not changed for the role, with only a pickaxe, jeans, and a turquoise T-shirt. The creeper monster, sheep, and bee featured in the film adaptation will look almost identical to the game, but will have voluminous and noticeable fur.
It is stated that these posters first appeared on 4chan and quickly spread on social networks, including X. Shortly thereafter, some copies were removed at the request of copyright holders, which confirmed their authenticity.
The film stars Jack Black as well as Jason Momoa. It is known that filming has already been completed, and the premiere of the film adaptation of Minecraft is scheduled for April 4, 2025. In addition to the feature film, an animated series based on the game is also being developed.
