Photos of a working prototype of the iPhone 15 Pro Max with capacitive buttons have surfaced online. It was published AppleInsider portal.
Apple initially planned to release the iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max with touch buttons developed under Project Bongo. The touch buttons can mimic the motion and sound of mechanical buttons using the Taptic Engine vibration motor, similar to the arrangement on the Home button on the iPhone 7.
It is noted that the touch buttons can retain tactile feedback even when the smartphone is turned off, but only if there is enough energy in the battery. Also, the canceled iPhone 15 Pro Max is more reminiscent of the 14 series smartphones due to the sharper edges of the frame – the model that was released for sale had a rounded frame.
Rumor has it that touch buttons could become one of the features of the future iPhone 16 series, scheduled for release in the fall. The smartphones also support the Apple Intelligence AI system, the appearance of the 48-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera and the Capture Button, which will be responsible for launching the camera.
Previously reportedIt was stated that the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is worth 230 thousand rubles in Russia.
