Ksenia Sobchak’s documentary “Beware, Rams” was released in the KION online cinema. socialbites.ca was informed about this by the press service of the online cinema.
Sobchak’s new project is a journalistic investigation dedicated to the coaching and mentoring industry. The TV presenter, together with her team, will dive into the world of coaching, reveal real schemes to lure people into dubious practices and introduce viewers to psychologists, tarot readers and emotion experts. The journalist will also try out some techniques for which people are ready to pay a lot of money.
The film will feature psychologist Maxim Lazarev explaining the mechanics of how the human psyche believes in coaches’ promises to get rich and be the best version of itself. The film will also feature stories of people who have suffered as a result of coaches’ actions and found themselves in millions of dollars of debt. Sobchak will speak to victims of the industry for the first time, telling them how they got to coaches and how they managed to get out.
“I think it is important for people to approach the mentoring industry with a clear understanding of what is useful, what is pointless, and what can cause serious harm. That is why the ‘Beware of Coaches’ project was created to clearly explain this difference,” he said.
Previously Sobchak told what qualities she valued in Bogomolov.
