According to the source, the iPhone 16 Pro will be sold in the United States at a price starting at $ 999 (about 88 thousand rubles), which is the same price as the current iPhone 15 Pro. From this we can conclude that the new product, apparently, will not be more expensive.
The smartphone will feature a 6.3-inch Samsung M14 OLED display with a frequency of 120 Hz and a peak brightness of 1600 nits. Previous versions of the iPhone Pro had 6.1-inch displays.
The performance of the device will be provided by the proprietary Apple A18 Pro chipset paired with 8 GB of RAM. Despite the launch of the RAM-intensive AI system Apple Intelligence, the company does not plan to increase the amount of RAM to 12 GB yet. Moreover, you need at least 8 GB of RAM for the AI ​​to work.
The battery capacity of the iPhone 16 Pro will be 3577 mAh, but the power of high-speed charging has not yet been announced.
Significant changes are expected in the camera system. The smartphone will be equipped with a 48 MP main module, a 48 MP wide-angle (instead of the previous 12 MP) and a 12 MP periscopic telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom. Previously, this telephoto lens was only available on the iPhone 15 Pro Max, while the iPhone 15 Pro and older flagship models only offered 3x zoom.
Other features include support for Wi-Fi 7 and the appearance of a Capture Button on the body that will be responsible for starting the camera and releasing its shutter.
