Popular biohacker and billionaire Brian Johnson was subjected to gene therapy that is banned in the United States. In this respect reports Unilad publication.
Johnson visited an island in Honduras, where he received follistatin gene therapy, which is not approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) in the United States. The procedure cost $20,000 (about 1.75 million rubles).
The biohacker hopes this treatment will help him live to 120. He had been making plans for such a procedure for a long time, but was constrained by the risks associated with the possible development of malignant tumors due to interference with DNA.
Brian Johnson was born in 1977. He invests in startups and technology companies, but is best known for his efforts to slow the aging process, for which he spends about $2 million a year.
His rejuvenation methods include giving his 17-year-old son a blood transfusion, following special diets and injecting fat from young donors. He also recently reported on the use of shockwave therapy to combat erectile dysfunction.
