Authoritative insider Majin Boo published On its page on the social network X (formerly Twitter), here are a few comparative photos of the new iPhone 16 Pro and last year’s iPhone 15 Pro.
The images confirmed numerous leaks and rumors that the screen has increased to 6.3 inches in the new product. The photo shows that the new black model is slightly larger than the iPhone 15 Pro with a 6.1-inch screen. It has also been reported that the iPhone 16 Pro will have even thinner frames on the screen, but it is not yet possible to determine this from the photos.
The back cover photo confirms the leak regarding the camera on the iPhone 16 Pro, which will be equipped with a larger sensor, and therefore the camera unit is slightly larger. According to rumors, the new product will receive a 48 MP main sensor, a new 48 MP ultra-wide-angle module (12 MP on the 15 Pro) and a 12 MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, while the iPhone 15 Pro has 3x optical zoom.
In the images from the inside, you can also notice a new touch-sensitive capture button on the side of the smartphone, which will be responsible for releasing the camera shutter.
Despite all the external changes, the overall design of the new iPhone 16 Pro will not differ much from the iPhone 15 Pro. The introduction of the iPhone 16 series is expected to be held in September 2024.
