Unknown cybercriminals, penetrating closed information networks, hacked the satellite broadcast of Ukrainian TV channels StarLightMedia and Inter, from which they launched the broadcast of the Victory Parade in Moscow. The local analytical center “Detector Media” writes about this with reference to the National Council of Television and Radio Broadcasting of Ukraine.
According to the source, the live broadcast of the parade lasted from 10:00 to 10:18 Moscow time, after which TV channels switched to another digital television technology – IPTV. Regarding the incident, the Ukrainian National Council will contact the UN’s special unit called the International Telecommunication Union to investigate what happened.
The Moscow parade was broadcast on “all TV channels” in Ukraine as of 10:10 Moscow time, local Telegram channel Odessa INFO reported.
