Instagram (which owns the company Meta is known for being extremist and has been banned in Russia) has introduced a new Reveal feature that allows users to post blurred Stories that can only be viewed after receiving permission via Direct. To activate this function, you need to click on the stickers icon at the top of the interface and select the appropriate filter. In this respect reports The Verge’s edition.
The working mechanism of this function is not yet very clear. For example, although the description of the option suggests exactly this, it is reported that users will not have to approve every request to unlock the history in Direct.
In addition to the Reveal feature, the platform also introduced many new features. For example, the Add Your Music to Stories feature will allow users to share their favorite songs that suit their mood.
The Frames feature turns the images you add to Stories into Polaroid-style photos, hiding the image from followers. You will need to shake the phone or press a button to see the photo.
Thus, The Verge writes, social network Instagram continues to improve its features to meet the needs of its users and make their experiences more fun and interactive.
