The new game of the Tomb Raider series will offer a completely open world that is new for the series. Referencing insider V Scooper on this topic reports Insider-Gaming portal.
Previous episodes of the series offered to explore large but “corridor” locations. The new chapter promises freedom of movement across India’s exotic expanses, including the ability to use motorcycles and other vehicles. Additionally, Lara Croft will even parachute during the game.
The developers of Crystal Dynamics, who announced that they were working on an Unreal Engine 5-based project in April 2022, have not yet announced the exact release date of the game. The game will be published by Amazon Games.
“A natural disaster that affected Northern India exposed the remains and artifacts of the ancient Emperor Ashoka. “Lara strategically battles the Tomb Raider Society and other rivals in the fight for these powerful relics,” is the rumored synopsis of the project.
Crystal Dynamics had previously revealed artwork featuring Lara Croft, but the company later clarified that this was not the final appearance of the Tomb Raider in the upcoming game.
