Almost half of UK gamers over the age of 18 surveyed do not intend to buy Grand Theft Auto VI when it launches in 2025. In this respect reports Insider-Gaming portal with link to Statista research.
According to the survey, 49% of participants are not interested in Rockstar Games’ new product; 45% said they were reluctant to purchase the sixth installment of the crime series, while 4% had not yet decided. Only 41% of respondents expressed a desire to purchase GTA VI.
The results of the research were published at the end of April 2024, but the survey was conducted in November 2023. At the same time, the game premiered only in December with the release of the GTA VI trailer. Maybe after watching the video, some of the participants may change their minds about the unreleased game.
Grand Theft Auto VI is an open-world action game planned to be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles in 2025. The game will tell about the life of two gangsters – the girl Lucia and her friend Jason – in the fictional state of Leonidas and the city of Vice City.
