Two new features are coming to WhatsApp 14:12

WhatsApp developers have introduced two new features that make interaction within Communities easier. In this respect says on the company’s blog.

The first innovation is an integrated event planning tool that allows Community members to announce, create and manage events directly within the app. Now every member of the “Community” has the opportunity to start an event, while other members can choose to participate.

Information about upcoming events will be available on the group page and reminders will be sent automatically as the event date approaches. The event management feature is currently available for groups with Communities and will be available for all group chats in the near future.

The developers have also implemented a response chain to messages from administrators in Communities. Replies will be edited to minimize chat clutter. Additionally, notifications for such replies are disabled by default, which prevents spam.

Previous WhatsApp users called for its removal New version of Messenger.
