Russian studio WATT Studio has reintroduced its adventure puzzle game about skateboarder Hannah and announced that its name has been changed. The project, previously known as One Day More, is now called Hannah’s Day and will be released on Steam and VK Play platforms in summer 2024. reports DTF portal.
As the developers themselves say, they started creating the game in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic, and in 2021 they won the Unreal Engine Development Competition and then found a Polish publisher. By 2022, the project was brought to a state ready for release, but due to the ongoing crisis, the studio and publisher decided to postpone the release.
After further delays and the publisher’s offer to “freeze” the project, WATT Studio sought legal advice and re-registered the game under a new name. Studio representatives said they are currently in the middle of a legal battle and cannot comment in detail on the situation.
The publisher of the game until November 2022 was the Polish company RedDeer.Games, known for publishing small game projects. WATT Studio has expressed its intention to provide more details about the situation as soon as possible without violating existing agreements.
In the game, now called Hannah’s Day, players will take control of a girl named Hannah who loves music and skateboarding.
