The most purchased flowers in Russia were 13:16

Yandex Market analyzed bouquet sales throughout 2023 and compiled the most popular flowers among Russians. Company statistics are available on socialbites.ca.

While 40 cm long red rose bouquets took the first place, hydrangea, carnation and spray rose bouquets took the second place. Blue orchid compositions complete the top 3. Yandex Market also revealed that before March 8, Russians mostly bought bouquets of peonies, roses and regular tulips.

Statistics from a Russian IT company also showed that the demand for flowers before March 8 was approximately twice as high as before Valentine’s Day. While men more often than women buy large bouquets online, women also prefer designer compositions. Men buy flowers more often than women, as expected, but as the market emphasizes, women’s share increased significantly last year.

The vast majority of buyers prefer express flower delivery. In Yandex Market it takes one to two hours.
