Microsoft has introduced a Productive Delete feature for the Photos app in Windows 10 and 11 that allows users to remove unwanted objects from photos. In this respect says on the company’s blog.
The Productive Erase feature is powered by artificial intelligence, allowing you to remove unwanted objects from photos with just a few taps. A similar tool has already been implemented in Photoshop and even on Google Pixel, Samsung Galaxy S24 and other smartphones.
To use Productive Erase, the user must open the image editor in the Photos app and select the Erase function. The user must then use a brush to select the object they want to remove.
According to Microsoft, Productive Wiping and other features that use artificial intelligence will be available not only in the 32-bit version of Windows 11, but also in the version for ARM processors.
Members of the Windows Insiders operating system preview program will be the first to test the new feature. The release date of the updated application for all users has not been announced yet.
