US senators filed a complaint with TikTok about the inability to remove content from Russian state media.

US senators, who are supporters of the Republican Party, sent a letter to TikTok CEO Show Zi Chu, expressing their concerns about the publication of Russian state media content on the platform at a time when other videos were limited. This has been reported Reuters.

The senators’ call said TikTok “allows Russian state media to flood the platform with dangerous pro-war propaganda.” The publication of such material was banned on March 25. The social network abandoned materials published before the specified date.
