Durov announced the number of paid Telegram users 17:04

According to Durov, the number of paid users of the messenger has doubled in the last five months, and last year it quadrupled. Today, December 8, 2023, the counter of Telegram Premium owners exceeded the 4 million mark.

“Telegram Premium, launched less than a year and a half ago, has become the fastest growing paid subscription in the history of messaging applications,” the businessman wrote.

In his message, Durov also thanked paid Telegram users and emphasized that the development team adds new features for them every month.

Telegram Premium provides advanced functionality to messaging users. For example, with a subscription a person can have an unlimited number of chats and channels, choose from a greater number of reactions, customize their profile, and more.
