“We believe that responsible work on the development of artificial intelligence for the benefit of people will lead to the formation of a new, human-centered model of the economy and the entire society as a whole,” Gref said during the Investor Day.
Gref added that Sberbank will be a part of this important process. According to the president of Sber, the consumer model that sees people only as a source of income should be a thing of the past.
Before that, Senior Vice President, CTO and Head of Sberbank Technologies block Andrey Belevtsev said at the Investor Day, where the results of the 2021-2023 Strategy were summarized, that Sber will quadruple investments in the development of IT technologies.
According to him, some of the solutions developed by Sber for itself have market potential and are already generating additional profits for the group.
