Over the past few days, many Google Drive cloud storage users have complained about files disappearing, prompting Google to launch an investigation into the incidents. In this respect reports edition 9to5Google.
Users’ files have been disappearing for the last few months or even years. Some people lose data in their tables.
“Of course, this is a serious problem, especially for Google’s enterprise customers,” writes 9to5Google.
The American IT giant has already acknowledged the malfunction and announced that an investigation has been launched into the incidents. According to the preliminary result, users of Google Drive clients for computers with versions 84.0.0.0 – 84.0.4.0 face the loss of files and data.
Until all circumstances are clarified, Google recommended users unlink their accounts from the desktop cloud storage client. It was also recommended not to move the DriveFS folder containing the application files.
