Apple has released the third public beta of macOS Sonoma 14.2, allowing non-developers to test the software before it is released globally. In this respect reports MacRumor’s publication.
Users can join the macOS public beta by going to the Software Update section of the System Preferences app. Then, simply activate the Sonoma public beta in the Beta Updates section. First you need to register on the Apple beta tester website.
Sonoma 14.2 introduces reactions to messages and stickers in iMessage. The update also includes support for collaborative playlists on Apple Music. There is also a new “Favorites” playlist where all the songs the user likes are automatically added.
macOS 14 Sonoma works on 2019 and later iMacs, 2017 and later iMac Pros, 2018 and later MacBook Air and MacBook Pros, 2019 and later Mac Pros, 2022 and later Mac Studios, and 2018 and later Can be upgraded to Mac minis.
