Sony during the State of Play broadcast announcedMarvel’s Spider-Man: Remastered will be released for PC on August 12, 2022. The original game was released exclusively for PlayStation 4 in 2018, followed by an enhanced re-release on PS5 two years later.
At the same time, the cost of the project on the PC is unknown. It is stated that the game will be available on Steam and Epic Games Store. Additionally, developer studio Insomniac Games has confirmed that Marvel’s Spider-Man spinoff Miles Morales will also be coming to PC in the fall.
The PC version of the game includes all the DLC and will likely receive similar graphics enhancements to the PS5 version, including ray tracing.
The release of a major game like Marvel’s Spider-Man on PC demonstrates Sony’s commitment to making computers a companion platform for PlayStation consoles. This isn’t the first Sony-exclusive game to appear on PC – games like Horizon: Zero Dawn, Days Gone, and God of War have managed to launch since 2020.
