Microsoft releases a “broken” update for Windows 10 14:19

Microsoft has confirmed that some Windows 10 users are encountering error 0x8007000d when trying to install the October security patch number KB5031356. The portal reports this Anti-Malware.

The identified issue affects Windows 10 21H2 and Windows 10 22H2 versions. When installing the patch, users encounter error 0x8007000d, which indicates that the update data is corrupt or invalid.

Microsoft said it has received several reports of the KB5031356 installation error. According to the company, in the first stage, when the device progresses, the installation process is interrupted.

The company asks users who encounter this issue to report it using the feedback form in the Windows Feedback app. Microsoft also stated that it is working on a solution to the problem and will release a fix soon.
