You can turn off ads for money on TikTok 19:42

Popular social network TikTok is testing a new feature that will allow users to get rid of ads for a small fee. In this respect reports Android Authority.

In the latest version of the TikTok application, lines of code were found stating that the service will have the ability to choose a tariff plan that will not display ads. Users will continue to have access to the standard free plan, which includes personalized ads, and the Ad-Free plan, which costs $4.99 per month (about 490 rubles).

TikTok representatives confirmed to TechCrunch that they are indeed testing a paid plan “in one of the English-speaking markets outside the United States.” However, they deny that small-scale tests indicate that the feature will be released soon.

In 2023, paid subscriptions appeared in the social network X (formerly Twitter), Telegram messenger and other services. But these plans not only disable ads but also offer users additional features not available in the free versions.
