After adding an action button to the iPhone 15, Apple is preparing to implement a camera capture button on its next-generation smartphones. In this respect reports MacRumor portal.
The capture button will differ from regular mechanical buttons in that it will not physically move when pressed. Instead, it will respond to touch and pressure using the Taptic Engine, creating a feeling of pressure, similar to the Home button on the iPhone 7, 8, and SE. It will be located directly below the power button.
Apple had previously experimented with capacitive power and volume buttons, but the company gave up on this innovation. According to the source, the Capture button will appear on the entire iPhone 16 series, but Apple has also developed an alternative version without this button in case it fails the tests or the testers react negatively. It is also possible that a touch-sensitive power button will emerge that will work in a similar way.
However, the iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will have the screen size increased from 6.1 and 6.7 inches to 6.3 and 6.9 inches respectively. The smartphones also feature a new camera unit design in the style of the iPhone 12.
Apple had previously sent sellers guidesjustifies the perishable caps.
