Police in Newark, Ohio, USA, arrested a 17-year-old teenager for allegedly shooting a 60-year-old woman with a firearm. In this respect informs ABC6 version.
The incident took place on 13 June. According to a police report, the teenager broke into a home to steal a PlayStation 4 and a pair of shoes from another minor. During the incident, a juvenile delinquent fired a rifle and injured a 60-year-old woman.
Witnesses said that after the attack, the teenager got into a car with other minors and fled the scene. Later, the police detained them and found a gun in the car that was supposedly fired. The attacker is currently under arrest and is on trial for attempted murder.
“Something needs to be done about it. I’m sick of the violence from gunmen,” George Bowie, the victim’s neighbor, told ABC6.
Bowie demands that juvenile delinquents be punished by the standards of American adults. According to him, only in this way will they go to prison and here they will realize the cost of a mistake.
