Data from hundreds of thousands of hackers was in the public domain 18:46

The database containing the personal data of about 478,000 users of the RaidForums hacker forum was available on the network for free. It has been reported BleepingComputer.

The data of nearly 500,000 users in a tabular single file format was released by the administrator of the new Exposed cybercrime forum known as Impotent.

The database contains usernames, hashed passwords, mailing addresses, registration date and other personal information. The most recent entries are dated September 2020.

As a result, the leak allowed attackers and security researchers to learn about people visiting the forum. Also, according to the publication, law enforcement became interested in the data.

RaidForums was launched in 2015. Over the years, the resource has become an extremely popular forum among hackers. The popularity of the site was ensured by the fact that any user publishes, leaks and sells data stolen from various organizations.

The site was regularly used to sell their software, not only to resell stolen data to other users, but also to send hacks, phishing attacks or viruses.

Europol in April 2022 closed RaidForums, the international hacker forum whose members actively publish databases from Russia and Belarus.
