The client of the recently announced Counter-Strike 2 game has started to spread on the network via torrents. In this respect reported Twitter user under the pseudonym vx-underground investigating various data leaks.
“Currently, Counter-Strike 2 is officially available to a limited number of people. My colleagues and I believe that one of the group of beta testers has posted the downloaded game files on the network. [и теперь скачать новинку могут все желающие]”, – wrote vx-underground.
The unified client is said to be functional, but cannot be played online. However, Counter-Strike 2 can be played by setting bots, which are computer-controlled enemies, as opponents.
Valve announced Counter-Strike 2 earlier this week on March 22. Although the game will be released in the summer of 2023, Valve provided access to the novelty to a limited circle of players immediately after the announcement.
