Voice assistant users lose interest in Google 20:02

The Android Authority portal conducted a survey among readers. showedthat almost half of smartphone users are ready to abandon “Google Assistant” in favor of the Bing search engine with the ChatGPT neural network.

Therefore, 42% of respondents said they would switch from Google Assistant to the Bing search engine, a built-in chatbot, at the first opportunity. At the same time, 29% of respondents said they would switch to Bing if the new search engine worked on smart speakers. It is stated that users like the Bing with AI functionality and that Microsoft should consider integrating the service with other device types.

However, about 29% of Android Authority readers surveyed said they would not switch to Bing because they were completely satisfied with Google Assistant. Among the main advantages of Google Assistant is the ability to control your smart home with voice commands. Some say that Microsoft’s neural network search engine is too slow compared to Google’s solution.

However, the survey showed that just over 70% of respondents were interested in using Bing instead of Google Assistant on different devices.
